The goals of LCYP are to connect young professionals with other like-minded individuals, develop and advance the careers of its members and make a positive impact on the community.
LCYP is a Southern New Mexico connection forum for young professionals, by young professionals. As a part of the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce, LCYP strives to create an atmosphere where young professionals connect and thrive through social events, community involvement, educational programs, and relationship building groups. Ultimately, we hope to equip the next generation of business and community leaders to ensure Southern New Mexico’s future.
The LCYP consist of current or aspiring managers, executives, professionals, and entrepreneurs. While there is no age limit to join, LCYP members are generally between the ages of 21-40.
Caffeinated Conversations
Caffeinated Conversations is a networking opportunity for Young Professionals in the area to exchange ideas and build lasting relationships. It is held on the 3 rd Tuesday of every month at the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce office. Coffee is ready at 8am with the program starting at 8:15am.
Pub Talk
Pub Talk is a great way to unwind from a long day at the office with other aspiring business leaders. Listen to industry professionals while building relationships with your peers. Pub Talk is hosted by the
Game 1 Sports Bar on the 4th Wednesday at 5:30pm of the odd months during the year (January, March, May, July, September, and November).
Food for Thought
Escape the office during your lunch hour to network with your peers and listen to an industry leader share their professional experiences. This event is held at the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce office at noon on the 4th Wednesday of the even months during the year ( February, April, June, August, October, and December).
