To insure that members receive tangible benefits as a part of their Chamber membership.
Committees
Events – Plans and executes events and activities to provide networking and training opportunities for members.
Golf Classic – Responsible for planning and putting on the annual Chamber/WSMR Golf Tournament and the annual Classic Golf Tournament.
Activities of this committee include coordinating the annual golf outing at a local golf course. This event provides members with the opportunity to socialize with their guests and business associates. Committee members obtain tee/green sponsors, door/raffle prizes and determine the “games” and activities that help add to the enjoyment of the event.
Council of Conquistadores – The Conquistadores create goodwill for the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce, the City of Las Cruces, and the surrounding area through public relations events and activities.
Activities of the Conquistadores include attending ribbon cuttings, ground breaking ceremonies, dedications, supporting Business- After- Hours functions on a regular basis and attending Good Morning/Good Evening Las Cruces as events moderators. They also organize and host “Las Cruces Day in Santa Fe” an annual business community lobbying event at the state capitol and make up the Membership Advisory Committee. Conquistadores also donate countless man hours giving volunteer assistance to many nonprofit organizations and at community events.
Member Advisory – Ensures new & existing members connect to the Chamber and all of the programs and benefits included in their membership.
