Legislative Priorities

The 2024 State Legislative Session is well underway.  It is imperative that businesses take an active role in advocating for their interests. Grassroots advocacy, in particular, has proven to be an effective way for businesses to make their voices heard and influence policymaking. By joining the movement and engaging in grassroots advocacy, businesses can help shape legislation that affects their industry and ensure that their concerns are taken into account. This involves building relationships with lawmakers, attending public hearings, and mobilizing employees and customers to speak out in support of business-friendly policies.  Let’s work together to make our voices heard and protect the interests of businesses during the 2024 State Legislative Session.

As a business owner, it’s important to make your voice heard on issues that impact your business. One effective way to do this is by scheduling a meeting with your local legislator. By meeting with your representative, you can discuss policies that affect your industry and advocate for the needs of your business. This is especially important for small businesses, who may not have the resources to hire lobbyists or engage in other forms of advocacy. So take the time to research your local legislator and schedule a meeting to discuss the issues that matter most to you and your business. Your voice matters, and your advocacy can make a difference in shaping policies that impact your industry.
