Incorporating the local culture Local hotel is now a partner with Virgin Galactic

The southern New Mexico culture can be seen throughout the Las Cruces area.

One business in particular has made its purpose to preserve the cultural heritage of the community and its surrounding areas. Inside the walls and exterior of Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces, the facility is flourishing with vibrant colors and unique features.

Local business has three locations to help customers beat the heat

Everyone enjoys a scoop of delicious ice cream. In Las Cruces, Caliche’s has been a favorite for customers of all ages. No matter the season, customers always enjoy the treat.

In 1992, owners David and Dana Wortham first moved to Las Cruces. They started a car detailing business and made enough money to start the Caliche’s branch on Valley Drive on Oct. 27, 1996.

The Army Substance Abuse Program held its first Resiliency Health Fair in an effort to provide the White Sands Missile Range community with the proper tools to lead a healthy mental and physical life Sept. 4 at the Professional Development Center at WSMR.

Several local health and behavioral health facilities were on hand to provide vital information and information about upcoming seminars.
