Rebecca Bolton

Rebecca “Becky” Bolton is the general manager of the Las Cruces Convention Center.

Bolton grew up in Syracuse, N.Y., and went to school at the Florida State University, graduating with a degree in multinational business operations and marketing.

As a banquet server during college, she became interested in the events industry and began to pursue a career in the field. After graduating, she started working for Global Spectrum, a subsidiary of Comcast. Susana Martinez as guest speaker at the annual Membership Update Luncheon on Friday, Oct. 24. Martinez’s passion for children is what has led her to succeed as a prosecutor and now as governor through the impacts she has made in New Mexico schools.

Every year as we begin a new Junior Leadership program, we get an opportunity to meet future leaders of our community. This year we have 29 juniors representing every high school in Las Cruces. After spending nearly an entire day with them during their orientation session, I think that we will have a terrific class of students who will engage in the process, learn a great deal and improve their leadership skills.
