Hundreds of parents, students, staff and community volunteers will be part of the Comcast Cares Day event when they paint, clean and beautify Jornada Elementary School, 3400 Elks Drive on Saturday, April 25. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the campus cleanup will continue throughout the morning, said Brigitte Zigelhofer, LCPS community outreach liaison. Community volunteers are needed and can give any amount of time to the beautification effort, she said.
