SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Small, nonfarm businesses in eight New Mexico counties are now eligible to apply for low-interest federal disaster loans from the U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA). “These loans offset economic losses because of reduced revenues caused by the drought that began on February 25, 2014, in the primary county of Sierra,” announced Tanya N. Garfield, Director of SBA’s Disaster Field Operations Center-West.
SBA disaster assistance is now available in the New Mexico counties of Catron, Dona Ana, Grant, Lincoln, Luna, Otero, Sierra and Socorro.
