Small Business
Of the Chambers more than 900 members, 85% employ 25 associates or less. This clearly shows that the Chamber mirrors the local business community in Las Cruces. Small business and its interests are reflected in the Small Business Council of the Chamber. A part of the Chamber's Member Services Division, the Council works to develop and sustain tangible benefits and assistance for all small businesses in the community.
The Small Business Council Committee acheives these objectives through holding the Chamber's Small Business Workshops throughout the year. These workshop are tailored for small business owners and managers to further develop their skills in the areas of planning, budgeting, marketing, networking and many other areas. The workshop series is held bimonthly with a 60-minute presentation from local experts and features lunch and an opportunity for networking with other local businesses. For a schedule of future workshops, please visit our Chamber Calendar.
