City of Las Cruces- Economic Development
The City of Las Cruces economic development department works to support and grow businesses in the City. Staff works with businesses, government agencies (including Federal and State agencies as well as other City workgroups), and private organizations to identify and address business needs and to improve communication about issues that impact the business community. The City provides 1-on-1 support to existing businesses as well as start-up business and those looking to relocate or expand to Las Cruces. The Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance (MVEDA) is a public/private sector partnership dedicated to growing the wealth of Dona Ana County through the creation of economic based job opportunities for its residents.
