The Chamber strives to be what our community needs

Aug 10th, 2015

As an organization, the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce works diligently with a couple of things in Russell Allen, Chair of the Board Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commercemind. To our membership and the business community, we need to be relevant and we want to provide a return on their investment in the Chamber.

The direction we have taken over the last few years comes from many conversations with the business community on what they expect from a Chamber of Commerce and what is important to aid them as they grow a business in our community. The Chamber strives to be the Chamber that our community needs. While we have not done everything yet that we need to do, we, as an organization, are taking leaps and bounds in that direction and will continue to work diligently to grow our capacity to meet those expectations.

It is heartwarming to see that our members and the business community acknowledge that hard work on their behalf. Many have expressed to me personally their support but the greatest proof that we are on the right track is our membership retention rate of 96 percent, far above the industry standards for chambers. For your support and vote of confidence, we thank you. We will continue to work hard for you and the community in which we live. If you lead a business and have not joined, consider being a part of the organization that is 100 percent dedicated to your success. With your support we can do even more and the voice of business in our community grows stronger.
