Stephanie Armitage, branch manager for First National Bank of the Rio Grande on Northrise Drive, is a native of Doña Ana County. John Ryan, sales manager for CST Solar on East Lohman Avenue in Las Cruces, originally hails from a small town in southeastern Connecticut. A classically trained chef, Ryan decided to put his culinary career on hold to take part in a pilot program in sustainable technologies at the University of Hawaii’s, Maui College.

She started in 2007 as marketing specialist and was promoted to director of marketing in 2010. The hospital recently expanded the marketing department and Leatherwood has taken on a new role focused on communications and community outreach.
