Brandi Johnston, a performance artist, teacher and business owner, joins the Las Cruces Arts Association as guest presenter, Sunday, March 22, at 2:00 p.m. following a brief members meeting, 125 N. Main Street at the LCAA Art on Easels Gallery. Next to the Downtown Bistro.
Free and the public is invited.
Johnston's interactive presentation will center around the art principle of elegance in which curves attract, amuse, enthrall, seduce. Casual attire is suggested.
Johnston is the originator of !OYE! Celebrating Visions of the Future, a 30-hour view of the future, planned for Main Street, October 10 and 11. A graduate of New Mexico State University with majors in psychology and dance performance, she currently is certified to conduct brain studies within the practice of neurofeedback.
The Las Cruces Arts Association is a 501(c)3 organization, established in 1962. The purpose of the Las Cruces Arts Association is to foster an environment for artists of all levels, to come together to learn and to share the joy of art and to extend that enjoyment to the greater community.
Membership to the Las Cruces Arts Association is $30 per year. Members receive, opportunities to exhibit their work during the First Friday Art Ramble, 3rd Saturday Farmers Market, Alternative Exhibition Venues throughout the city and to attend workshops and demonstrations, as well has the camaraderie of other artists and advocates.
