Greetings Community, Business and Education partners,
On Friday, April 1, 2016 New Mexico State University in Partnership with America’s Promise Alliance, AT&T and Bravo Dealerships will present the “New Mexico State University GradNation Community Summit”. This Community Summit is one of 100 Summits taking place throughout the country and is part of the larger GradNation campaign, and initiative of America’s Promise Alliance. GradNation is a national movement of dedicated individuals, organizations, and communities working together to raise the national high school graduation rate to 90 percent by 2020 and increase postsecondary enrollment and completion.
This summit will engage representatives from many sectors: education practitioners (K-12), business leaders, civic organizations, non-profits, government, higher education, parents and students from Doña Ana County. The forum’s topics will include how to 1) increase the high school graduation rates in Doña Ana County, 2) increase entry/success in postsecondary education, 3) examine workforce readiness upon graduation from high school/college, 4) explore best practices in local school districts, and 5) examine the role of technology and innovation in public school instruction.
We encourage you to register for this event and engage in meaningful dialogue, which will impact future generations and our community.
