Mission Statement

The mission of the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce is to provide valuable services for our members, enhance and sustain the economy, promote the community and serve as the leading voice and public policy advocate for business in the Greater Las Cruces region.

Who We Are

The Greater Las Cruces Chamber is a membership-based business advocacy and networking organization that represents more than 900 businesses, employing more than 25,000 employees in Las Cruces and Doña Ana County. Small business makes up approximately 85 percent of Chamber membership, which mirrors the overall Las Cruces area business community.

While you run your business, the Greater Las Cruces Chamber advocates for you by developing a climate in which business can create jobs and operate at a profit. The Chamber represents the interests of business with all levels of government, supports business-friendly ballot measures, equips candidates for public elected office, provides business and leadership training, participates in workforce development, creates a strong local economy and promotes the community. The Chamber also hosts the region's premier networking opportunities and special events.

The work the Chamber does as the region's independent business advocate is entirely funded by membership investments, Chamber advertising media opportunities and special events. By investing in the Greater Las Cruces Chamber, you leverage the strength of a dynamic organization with a proven track record for more than 60 years in promoting a healthy economy and superior quality of life for all members of our community.

The Greater Las Cruces Chamber continuously updates this website, as well as other media outlets, to keep our members and the community apprised of Chamber activities and to provide links to help members generate business from out-of-town and in-town referrals.

Greater Las Cruces Chamber programs are developed through member-run committees that tap the varied expertise of local business owners. Through your participation in these committees and myriad networking and other special events, we can continue to grow and become an even stronger force in the community, region and state. We invite you to become involved.
